Emirati National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed is said to have held talks recently with his US counterpart Jake Sullivan, to discuss the completion of the F-35 deal.

This comes after US President Joe Biden requested the removal of China’s Huawei Technologies Co. from the UAE’s telecommunications networks, using the F-35 deal as leverage.
