Saudi Crown Prince (CP) Mohammad Bin Salman held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin last Thursday (21/7/2022).
They discussed the upcoming OPEC+ meeting, bilateral relations in various fields, and current regional and international developments.
It is of note that CP Mohammad-Putin call took place 5 days after U.S. President Joe Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia and 2 days after the trilateral summit meeting that was held in Tehran between President Putin, Iranian President Ebraham Raisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The call also took place ahead of CP Mohammad’s planned visits to Greece and France.
