Lockheed Martin UK and Raytheon are said to have recently held contacts with Kuwaiti Defence Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah and Commander of the Kuwaiti Land Forces (KLF) Major-General Khaled Al-Foudari on a project to upgrade the Desert Warrior armored fighting vehicles in service with the KLF.
