Iraq: Maliki, Dawa Party and relationship with Washingtonnote

Iraqi PM Nouri Al-Maliki is said to have met on 15/6/14 with leading members of the Islamic Dawa Party to discuss the situation in Iraq in the light of the ongoing military activities of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), widely known as Daesh.
