Saudi King Abdullah issued on 15/4/14 a royal decree by which he accepted the resignation of Prince Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz from his position as Chief of General Intelligence and tasked his Deputy General Yusef Bin Ali Idrisi to act as Chief of General Intelligence in his place.
