Qatar and Iran are working closely to enhance their cooperation in different sectors of the energy industry.
Several meetings and telephone calls were held between both countries’ representatives, including a call on 26/8/2023 between Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
Talks are also said to be ongoing concerning cooperation on the South Pars gas field.
