Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi appointed last Monday (22/5/2023) veteran commander with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Ali Akbar Ahmadian as the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), replacing Ali Shamkhani.
