The Omani Ministry of State for Defense and its British counterpart reportedly started implementing the joint defense agreement signed between the two countries in May 2022.
This will reportedly begin by providing advanced equipment for the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), and the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard (ROPCG).
These equipment are said to be tested during the joint Omani-British military exercise “Khanjar Oman 2023”.
