Following his visit to Jordan and Kuwait, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia’ Al-Sudani visited Tehran last Tuesday (29/11/2022) after receiving an official invitation from Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
During his visit, PM Al-Sudani met with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Ebrahim Raisi to discuss major political issues including the Iraqi-held Saudi-Iranian meditation talks.
Khamenei approved reactivating the mediation talks.
