German Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Saudi Arabia last Saturday (24/9/2022) as part of a two-day Gulf tour and met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz.
The meeting is reported to have opened a new chapter in Saudi-German relations.
Crown Prince Mohamad and Chancellor Scholz discussed several files crucial to both countries.
Additionally, Chancellor Scholz reportedly said during the meeting that he is working on reactivating discussions regarding previously halted arms deals with the Kingdom.
