Qatar: Lt-General Al-Nabit, new Chief of Staffnote

Qatari Emir Tamim issued an Amiri decree yesterday (19/10/21) whereby he appointed Commander of the Qatar Air Force (QAF) Lt-General Salem Bin Hamad Al-Nabit as Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces.

By this, Lt-General Al-Nabit replaced Lt-General Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim, who was appointed as Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, as part of a cabinet reshuffle that included several other appointments.
