Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received last week (4/10/21) Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri.

Even though the meeting is said to have revolved around Qatari-Iranian cooperation in Afghanistan, the two sides are also believed to have discussed the relations between Tehran and Washington.
