Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio arrived last Monday in Libya, on his fifth trip sice to the country since the beginning of 2021.

During his visit, Di Maio met with Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Field Marshal Khalifa Belqasim Haftar and other prominent Libyan officials, including Interim Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbeibeh and President of the Libyan Presidential Council (LPC) Mohammad Al-Menfi.
