Oman: New foundations for relations with Saudi Arabianote

Sultan Haitham of Oman arrived last Sunday (11/7/21) in Saudi Arabia for a two-day visit, during which he met with King Salman in the presence of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz.

After the visit, Oman and Saudi Arabia issued a joint statement, calling for continued cooperation and coordination in the political, military, and security fields.

There is talk that this visit, which came at the personal invitation of King Salman, was aimed at laying new foundations for the Omani-Saudi relations.
