Saudi King Salam met yesterday (11/7/21) with Sultan Haitham of Oman in NEOM. Sultan Haitham was welcomed at NEOM Bay Airport by King Salman’s son Crown Prince Mohammad.
The two leaders also attended the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to form a joint Saudi-Omani coordination council.
There is talk that Sultan Haitham’s visit, which is said to have been described by King Salman as a “historical event”, will open the door for a new era of cooperation between the two countries.
