Qatar, Italy and midget submarine deal [Update No. 1]note

Following the release of Italy’s annual governmental report on military armament exports, it was revealed that Qatar placed an order in March 2020 for two midget submarines.

Several details are said to have been revealed about the submarines' model and the companies that will participate in their production.
