US State Department spokesman Ned Price urged Saudi Arabia on Monday (1/3/21) to disband the Rapid Intervention Force, an elite unit of the Saudi Arabian Royal Guard (SARG) that is supposedly behind the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

This came following an announcement by the US Treasury Department last Friday (26/2/21) that the United States will impose sanctions on the SARG Rapid Intervention Force.
