GCC: Disagreement over Iron Dome deploymentnote

The United States announced last month (24/1/21) that it will deploy Israeli-made Iron Dome batteries in its bases within the Gulf, in preparation for any upcoming confrontation with Iran.

This announcement is said to have resulted in disagreements among GCC States. In fact, there is talk that Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman have opposed the US decision, contrary to the UAE and Bahrain.
