Saudi Arabia, Iraq and land border securitynote

Saudi Arabia is said to be placing high priority on protecting the Saudi-Iraqi land border, despite having spent large sums on protecting this border from 2015 until 2019.

There is talk that the Saudi Interior Ministry intends to cooperate with local and foreign companies in this regard.

Last week (18/11/20), Saudi Arabia and Iraq re-opened the Arar border crossing which had been closed for 30 years.
