In the past two months, Saudi Arabia appointed Fahd Al-Ruwaili as ambassador to Paris after 18 months of vacancy, while Ludovic Pouille was appointed as French Ambassador to Riyadh.
It is not yet known whether the two appointments will help thaw the ice between both countries, as the Saudi-French relationship has been cold over the last period.
Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz is said to still be hoping that French President Emmanuel Macron will adjust his positions on a number of regional files, including notably the Iranian nuclear file.
Tactical Report has prepared a 767-word special report to shed more light on the Saudi-French relations and the current issues at hand.
