Kuwait: Chief of Staff General Al-Khuder retiresnote

Foreign Minister and Acting Defense Minister Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah issued a decision yesterday (1/10/20) by which he dismissed Lt-General Mohammad Al-Khuder from his position as Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces after being promoted to the rank of General.

Although it is reported that General Al-Khuder requested retirement, the decision is said to have come as a surprise to everyone, especially Kuwaiti military commanders.
