Questions over US policy towards UAE and Qatarnote

US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and Senior Adviser Jared Kushner is said to have reassured UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed that the United States will give priority to the countries which normalize relations with Israel in terms of arms deals, trade relations and protection.

This came after US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arabian Gulf Affairs in the Near East Bureau Timothy Lenderking called yesterday (17/9/20) for naming Qatar as one of the United States’ major non-NATO ally.
