Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) Admiral Fahd Al-Ghufaili is said to have a project to buy more frigates in favor of the RSNF.
This comes in light of the launch of the first Avante 2200-class corvette jointly by the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) and the Spanish shipbuilder Navantia (22/7/20).
