The command of the UAE Navy is said to be going ahead with a project to purchase additional multi-role helicopters.
This comes in the context of a plan to fill some gaps in naval and coastal surveillance along the Emirati coast.
It also comes to reinforce protection of oil tankers in the Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Tactical Report has prepared a 214-word report to shed more light on the subject and tell what about the helicopter-makers that will be contacted and what about the preferred helicopter.
