The Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) continues a development plan since King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz acceded to the throne in August 2005. Deputy SANG Commander for Military Affairs Prince Mutaab Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz is in charge of the plan.
