Results of first round of Municipal electionsnote

Saudi sources close to the ruling family assess that the first round of Municipal elections, which were held in Riyadh and its surrounding villages, was very impressive and has produced positive results, with moderate Islamic candidates winning the seats against liberals, reformists and businessmen.
