Iran: US Predator UAVs violate airspacenote
Both Washington and Tehran have denied press reports about a US commando task force conducting covert missions in eastern Iran in a hunt for possible nuclear-weapons installations. However, well-informed Iranian sources claim that US Predator unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have recently penetrated 10 to 15 km into Iranian airspace, not only from Pakistan and Afghanistan in the east, but also from Iraq in the west.
