PUK, SCIRI discuss oil and securitynote

Sources at the Shiite Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) say talks are underway between SCIRI and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) to thrash out a common political plan. PUK is led by Iraqi President Jalal Talbani while SCIRI is led by Head of the large Shiite bloc, the United Iraqi Alliance, Sayyed Abdulaziz Al-Hakim.
