Two leading members of the Islamic State in Iraq were killed during clashes with the Iraqi forces in Al-Anbar province on 20/3/07.
The Iraqi Ministries of Interior and National Security confirm the story. They say the members were: Shaker Hadi Jassem who was acting as Defence Minister, and Mohammad Khamis Hammadi who was acting as Oil Minister.
