Saudi SAMI, localization of South African military technologynote

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz held talks with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa last week in Jeddah. In parallel, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) Ahmad Al-Khatib is said to have delivered to South African Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula a list of the South African-made military equipment which SAMI would like to transfer their technology to the Kingdom.
