Qatar: Emir Tamim, Macron and common airbase for Rafale aircraftnote

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani met with French President Emmanuel Macron on 6/7/18 at the Elysée palace in Paris. He is said to have discussed with President Macron the possibility of setting up a common Qatari-French air base in Qatar, specifically designed for the French-made Rafale fighter jet.
