Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani is said to have intention to continue contacts with China and other countries to buy short-range ballistic missiles. This comes as Qatar disclosed its acquisition of Chinese-made SY-400 short-range ballistic missiles.
