The Pentagon is said to have informed the Qatari Ministry of State for Defence Affairs about the necessity of Qatar deactivating all contacts on a project to buy long-range ground-to-ground missile systems. It was the first time that the Pentagon had taken such a position since the Qatar crisis erupted two months ago.
