Sultan Qaboos of Oman agreed last week to open two new shipping routes between Hamad Port in Doha and the Sohar and Salalah ports in the Sultanate. A Saudi-Emirati security and military delegation is said to have arrived in Muscat in the weekend to discuss the Omani position.
