Qatar: Back to strained relations within the GCC statesnote

Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad is still making contacts with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz to contain a new crisis within the GCC States.

The crisis erupted after publishing comments attributed to Emir Tamim on some regional sensitive matters. Despite attempts by Qatar to explain that the comments were fake, this does not seem to have attenuated the situation.
