Saudi King Salman is said to have promised Lebanese President Michel Aoun during their talks earlier this week in Riyadh to help reactivate a USD 3bn arms contract with France financed by Saudi Arabia. The contract, known as DONAS (DON Arabie Saoudite or Saudi Arabia Donation), has been running into difficulties since it was arranged on 29/12/2013 under the era of late Saudi King Abdullah.
