Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, who also acts as Defence Minister, welcomed the deployment of the British HMS Daring or Type 45 destroyer off the coast of Yemen to patrol the strait of Bab Al-Mandeb. He is said to have disclosed at a private meeting that the deployment of this destroyer is just the beginning of a naval cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Britain.
