Recently-Appointed Qatari Minister of State for Defence Affairs Khaled Al-Atiyyah is said to have intention to go ahead with plans to acquire a number of the search and rescue aircraft of type Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey in favor of the Qatari Air Force (QAF).
