Due to their wealth and leading activity in the energy and defense sectors, GCC countries are highly subject to cyber attacks. Protecting critical Information and Communications Technology (ICT) structures remains a challenge for these countries. Hence, GCC countries are now heading towards developing and strengthening their cybersecurity sector. This section presents a detailed insight into cybersecurity and cyberwarfare projects and deals the GCC countries are pursuing.
