The Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) is said to be looking to transfer and localize technologies used in the production of missile and electronic warfare (EW) systems that are integrated into military vehicles.
In this regard, there is talk that SAMI is particularly interested in a joint project by General Dynamics UK and MBDA UK, which integrates MBDA UK’s Brimstone ground attack missile into the Ares variant of General Dynamics UK’s Ajax vehicle family. The Brimstone-equipped variant is known as Overwatch.
