Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled Al-Bayari, received the Director of International Development in the Directorate General of Armaments at the French Ministry of the Armed Forces Lt-General Engineer Gael Diaz de Tuesta in Riyadh last week (8/2/2023).
Lt-General De Tuesta is reported to have emphasized Paris' willingness to use a number of significant arms deals to forge a future strategic partnership between the two countries.
Rafale 4 and Future Combat Air System (FCAS) fighter program figured among those deals.
Al-Bayari and De Tuesta also talked about the status of French defense companies in the Kingdom.
