Egypt is reportedly holding talks with different shipbuilders including Damen, Navantia, and Fincantieri, to acquire frigates and patrol vessels. The talks are also said to include the possible procurement of submarines.
In this regard, increased relations between the Egyptian Navy and the Italian company Fincantieri have been at the center stage recently, in light of talks that the Italian company is looking to expand its cooperation with Egypt.
