Qatar signed a naval agreement yesterday (1/12/20) with the United States.
The agreement was signed by Commander of the Qatar Navy Major-General Abdullah Bin Hassan Al-Sulaiti and Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command in the Middle East Vice Admiral Samuel Paparo, in the presence of Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lt-General Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim.
This is said to have come as part of Qatari Emir Tamim's efforts to expand protection for the 2022 FIFA World Cup event.
Tactical Report has prepared 389-word report to shed light on the subject and on Emir Tamim's efforts to secure the event.
