Tehran: the release of British sailors came after a British verbal apologynote

Iran released early today the 15 British sailors detained since 23/3/07. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said this would be a gift to the British people on the occasion of the Great Prophet Mohammad’s birthday and the Easter holiday.
