Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping yesterday (9/7/18) at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. On the occasion of his visit to China, several agreements were signed. This included a protocol to boost defensive industry cooperation between both countries. The protocol is said to be including a preliminary understanding to buy Chinese-made military vehicles and other land systems in favor of the Kuwaiti Army and the Kuwaiti National Guard (KNG).
