International forum on terrorismnote

Saudi diplomatic sources say the Saudi plan to host a three-day international forum on terrorism (5 to 8 February), about which Assistant Foreign Minister Nizar Madani talked before the UN General Assembly, came after a series of discreet contacts between Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faysal and US Secretary of State Colin Powell and also between senior Saudi officials and high-ranking US security and military officials who visited the Kingdom recently.
