Saudi Undersecretary at the Ministry of Defense for Strategic Affairs Ahmad Bin Ali Asiri met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for the Middle East Dana Stroul on Sunday (12/2/2023).
Asiri is reported to have asked to accelerate the delivery schedule of the ongoing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for 300 Patriot MIM-104E guidance enhanced missile-tactical ballistic missiles (GEM-T), which was announced in August 2022
He is also reported to have expressed an interest in a counter unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) package from Raytheon and Northrop Grumman for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).
