Saudi Arabia: No impact of US-French submarine dispute on arms dealsnote

There is talk that the Saudi Ministry of Defense will remain neutral and will not seek to benefit from disputes between the Kingdom’s allies, particularly the recent dispute between the United States and France over the US-British-Australian submarine deal.

Note that on Wednesday 15/9/21, Australia signed a deal with the United States and Britain for the purchase of nuclear-powered submarines, scrapping an order of 12 Attack-class submarines from French shipbuilder Naval Group. France was displeased with the announcement of the deal, and responded by recalling its ambassadors to Washington and Sydney (17/9/21).

Tactical Report has prepared a 409-word report to shed more light on this subject.
