UAE: EDGE Group, US, and air defense cooperationnote

The UAE is said to be seeking to expand cooperation between Emirati defense company EDGE Group and major US defense companies in the field of air defense.

There is talk that this comes in light of the increasing need among regional countries, especially GCC states, for air defense systems designed to counter combat drones and cruise missiles
