Iraq, Italy and armament relationsnote

It is still unclear whether Iraq will recover Iraqi funds that have been frozen in Italy since 1990, and which are estimated at 600 million euros, with interest.

However, even though Iraq is currently seeking to recover these funds, Iraqi military commanders, including Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army Lt-General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, are said to consider that this matter should not affect the military and armament relations with Italy.

Tactical Report answers these questions and more in the following 360-word report.
